Di3en el Zahro is a single released in spring 2002, it is a voice over mixed on the dance track “sleepless” by Faithless. The Voice over is a parody by the Zghartawi well renowed Astour, imitating the “Nabed” which is a traditional dead people mourning. In his performance Astour imitates late Zghartawi mourners, Rasheed el A3ma, Najibeh Saroufim , and Triza Dahdah. I wanted to translate the lyrics into English but find this task as impossible, sorry |
